Cold Comfort Farm

This was one of my final year projects where I was head of a team of second year students. Working along side designer David Cockayne, I designed the working movements of the vines. One of the desired functions that David had asked me to come up with was to find a way of making the vines come to life on stage. To achieve this, myself and the head of the workshop came up with the idea of running the vines up a track through the set. Another vine was puppeteraed from the side of the stage and a mass of vines where sown onto a back cloth and hung.

As part of the six plays festival I worked along side other course mates to create the look of a fireplace and the view from outside of the window of the houses on the oposite side of the road.
